Have a Great
Fall Break!

Have a great fall break, everyone! We will see you back here on Monday!

Warrior Awards

This afternoon, we had a school assembly where we had our first Warrior Award ceremony of the year. Four times a year, the teachers pick students in their classes to win Warrior Awards in Math, Reading and Writing, as well as character. Congratulations to our class Warrior Award winners!

Spelling Next Week

Next week’s list is on the back of this page.

Moon Observations

The moon has been hard to find, with all the cloudy, rainy days we had earlier this month. Right now, the best time to see the moon is in the mornings, and it still might be a little hard to see since it is at New Moon phase and will be for a couple more days. After that, it will start to grow into a crescent moon again, and then a half moon.

Home Safety

This week, Mrs. Brady did a guidance lesson with the kids about some things they should know to be safe at home and elsewhere. One of the things she talked about was knowing your phone number and address. That is a very important thing you can do: help make sure your student knows their phone number and address in case of emergencies.
