Box Top Collection

Our PTO is continuing their Box Top collection that runs into February. Several students have already brought back the pink pages with box tops attached to them. For each page with 10 box tops they bring in, our class gets credit for those box tops and the student gets an entry in a special prize drawing. If you need more pages, we have them here at the school, just ask 🙂

State Reports

We finished our state reports and posters this week. They are on display in the hallway outside our classroom. The kids learned lots of interesting things about their states. Good job!

Next Up: How To…

Our next writing unit will focus on the kids writing their own How-To paragraph. This weekend, please help your child pick some possible topics for their How-To paragraph. Please help them think of things they can explain how to do in four or more steps. Ideas include How to Clean Your Room, or How to Make a Peanut-Butter Sandwich.

No School Next Friday
Since we have not had a snow day recently, we will not have school next Friday, Feb. 3.
