Daily Snack (and donations needed)

August 10, 2014

Our second grade doesn’t eat lunch until 11:50.  That makes for a long, hungry morning.  To help this, we’ll be taking a snack break each day somewhere around 10:00.  Your child can bring in a quick, healthy snack of his or her choice.  Good snack ideas are animal crackers, pretzels, cereal, granola bars, etc.

Also, each day I provide snack for students who didn’t bring any of their own.  We have 21 students, so that could mean several kids each day who won’t have their own snack.  I’m asking parents and grandparents (if you can), to donate snacks for the class cupboard.   We could use things like pretzels, cereal, graham crackers, Cheeze-its, etc.  Please no candy.

Thanks!
