Red Ribbon Week Next Week
Red Ribbon Week is a week where we remind kids how important it is to not use drugs. So we’ll have some theme days next week:

Our school is having a shoe drive to collect lightly used shoes. If your student has grown out of his or her shoes, you can send them in to donate early next week.
This week in Reader’s Workshop we have been talking and thinking about the characters in stories. We talked about character “traits”. Traits are the characteristics of a character, like the way a character looks, acts, thinks and feels.
