Parent-Teacher Conferences Oct. 8 and 10

2nd Grade Field Trip to WACF – Oct. 8 – Turn in Permission Slips
We still have a few students who need to turn in their permission slips for the Oct. 8 field trip. Please send those in ASAP. If you need another copy, let me know. *Parents who have a background check to go on the trip with us, please return those ASAP.
Midterm Grades Go Home at Conferences
Our parent-teacher conferences for my room will be Oct. 8 and 10. I will be sending home the student midterm progress reports at that time.
Readers’ Theatre Plays – Audio Online
Every three weeks we will be doing a Reader’s Theatre play in our classroom. This is a play we practice reading and then record the audio on Friday. This play is called “Under the Sea with Jacques Cousteau”. You can listen to the students at our classroom website.
Milk Jug Contest!!
Thanks to everyone who sent in milk jugs to be recycled. Our class brought in a total of 245 jugs meaning we WON the 2nd grade pizza party, which will be held on an upcoming date.
